The African Children Stories program has been running in Botswana since 2013, incorporating Peace Centres, based on the Botswana tradition of the kgotla, built in three schools as the focus of our activities. Over 35,000 copies of the African Children Stories Collections have been distributed across many schools in both peri-urban and rural areas such as the Kgalagadi region. Through the help of the Botswana Education Hub, as well as the Department of Basic Education under the Ministry of Education and Skills Development, the Ducere Foundation has made an impact in the lives of students involved in the programs, giving them hope for a better future, developing passionate and motivated young leaders and learners. Botswana, Our Pride, your Destination!
